Hey there ✨
I don’t think anyone noticed but I’ve actually been inactive here last month. So I decided to share to you guys what I have been up to by giving all the updates. The last time I did this was way back December last year and now it’s already halfway through 2017. I don’t even know how we got here so fast.
Anyways, let’s start with my reading update where I’ll tell you about how I barely got to read anything in the month of May.
It has been exactly a year ever since I published my first post. It has been exactly a year ever since I decided to pursue this crazy idea to start a book blog.It has been exactly a year and OH MY GOD I’M STILL HERE.
Hey there! ✨✨✨
As you can tell today geniereads is celebrating its very first blogiversary! I know so exciting right? Such a milestone! Lol, but seriously I would have never thought that I’ll make it this far. I don’t know if my “blogging journey” or basically my experience is that interesting but that’s what I’m going to share to you today.
So here’s some virtual cookies 🍪🍪🍪, sit back and let’s start this story from…
Hey there ✨
If you didn’t know, I’m a huge fan of the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Series. It’s one of my most favorite books, I’m in love with Jenny Han’s writing, and Lara Jean is my spirit animal. And since the last book in the series, Always and Forever Lara Jean, is going to come out on May 2—I decided to re-read the first two books.
(I’m bringing this back! Genie Shares is a feature of mine where I share some “personal book-related” stories, if you want to read my past posts just click here. But I decided to use this feature not only for sharing stories but also for discussing or just writing about any book and blog related topics that is important to me at the moment.)
It all begins when we pay a visit to Netgalley, either we’ll just submit a review/feedback or will casually look at the new releases. And then next we know is that we’ve already requested for like 38083438 books. I don’t know about you, but this happens to me ALL THE TIME.
Hey there! ✨
YAAAAAS, this is my first and hopefully not the last book haul post! I don’t usually “haul” books because I don’t have the money to do that (I buy an average of 2-3 books a month) but now—I’m really not sure how but—I collected 13 books!
Heyheyhey there! ✨
Before the year ends I just wanted to squeeze in one more post, so here it is! Truly, 2016 was such a wonderful reading year for me—I read a lot of books, finished my Goodreads Reading Challenge (71/60 books read) and added a lot to my Favorite’s shelf!
And of course I wanted to share to all of you my top 16-ish books for 2016 as well as my reading + blogging goals for 2017.
MERRY CHRISTMAS LOVELY PEOPLE!
Well…advanced but we literally have just 2 days before Christmas and I’m honestly not that excited for it. Which is a bummer because its my favorite holiday but we’ll talk about more of that later.
Anyways, hi! Do you guys still remember me? Yup, I’m Louise that awkward blogger who rarely updates her blog. And as an
apology explanation for my inactiveness here’s a life, blogging, reading, basically all the updates update.
Heyyy there bookish people!
So how are you today? What are you currently reading? Hope you all are doing wonderful! As you may have read from the title, this post is all about my dream book conference (which may but probably will not come true) with my favorite authors! Admit it, you probably have daydreamed about your favorite authors gathering together on your dream conference once or twice now. Well, I always do and now I’m going to share one of my dream panel of authors.
Genie Shares is a Saturday feature in geniereads, where in Louise (
weekly) shares a personal book-related story.
Hello there beautiful bloggers!
It has been so long since my last Genie Shares posts, well honestly it has also been so long since the last time I opened up WordPress. Anyways, today I don’t have any interesting book-related story to share but, I’ll be sharing some
excuses, I mean reasons why I have been so inactive lately.
So this post is mostly a what-have-I-been-doing-or-reading or an overall life update because if you guys noticed, I’ve been MIA (Missing In Action) since I think June and I know you all been missing me!
(Just kidding, I know no one misses me because you all are busy reading and blogging and going on with your lives!) Continue reading
Hello there my dear Muggle friends!
Aentee @ Read at Midnight is hosting the Harry Potter Blog Festival, where in it’s Potterhead July and a lot of bloggers signed up to post something that we all love talking about which is of course Harry Potter.
So as for my post which is a couple of weeks late (I blame school), I’ll be sharing a few fantastic stuff that I found in the internet that would hopefully keep us distracted while we’re waiting for the book release of the Cursed Child. Continue reading
