my-review

As you can probably tell this book is different from the usual ones I read and review. This book is a collection of short stories wherein each narrative is both intriguing and haunting. Definitely a collection worth reading in between full length books.

BEWARE: SPOILERS EVERYWHERE!

“You are a girl, Mara. A girl blessed and cursed.”

Initially, I gave this book 4-stars but after having a good night’s sleep and time to process my feelings I decided to drop a star. And now I’m sad because I badly wanted to love this book and series. Hmm, I like it generally but it’s not hands-down-greatest-book-series-good, it had a handful of scenes that I did like but as a whole I just didn’t loved it. Continue reading

After finishing the first book, I had questions— question that I thought this book will probably answer. But as I was reading the second book (this book) my questions just piled up and now that I finished it, I AM FRUSTRATED AND CONFUSED AND I HAVE EVEN MORE QUESTIONS THAN WHEN I STARTED. I had no idea what I was going into when I started reading this book. Because I don’t read Paranormal book often, but I have been wanting to read this series for months already so why not right?
