First, I just want to put it out there that I am in no way, shape, or form a Batman or any DC or even Marvel superhero fan. Yes, I usually stray away from the depths of the superhero world. So expect that this review will come from someone who has not seen/read a single movie/comic about Batman.

Two kinds of people come out of personal tragedy… You’re the kind that comes out brighter.

Mini Reviews: Illuminae and Gemina

I decided to do my reviews for the two books in the Illuminae Files. I know, I’m so late on boarding this spaceship! Now I get what the hype is all about because THESE BOOKS ARE SERIOUSLY OUT OF THIS WORLD. They were so, so good and I can’t wait for the last book in trilogy which is Obsidio, which will be published on March 2018. I don’t even know how I’ll be able to wait that long.

Review: Warcross

I just found my new favorite book. Hands down Warcross is one of the best books of 2017, don’t even hesitate to grab this ASAP because it’S SO AMAZINGGGGGggg.

Mini Reviews: IDA and If This Is Home

Long time no post from me, huh. So here are two “mini” book reviews of books that I got from Netgalley and are both January releases. I know the reviews are kind of late, but whatyougonnadoright.

These two books have different genre, Ida is a YA Sci-Fi that has a time-or-parallel-universe-travelling concept while If This Is Home is a YA contemporary with great family and coming of age themes. I really enjoyed both books, I gave both of them 3 stars and just read on to know why.

The universe is complicated and so is this book. It’s a challenging read because it involves Math and Science with terms like Fractals, Wormholes and it also has a few equations. Nevertheless, I can say that this book is really about grief and coping up with loss.

I really enjoyed this book, it’s definitely one of those stories that would stick to to me and my memory. And if I wasn’t a bit confused because of all the for smart-people-stuff, I wouldn’t hesitate on giving this a five-star rating.
