Hey there! ✨
YAAAAAS, this is my first and hopefully not the last book haul post! I don’t usually “haul” books because I don’t have the money to do that (I buy an average of 2-3 books a month) but now—I’m really not sure how but—I collected 13 books!
A huge thank you to all the publishers and authors who sent me all these review copies! I haven’t read most of them yet and I’m really excited to start devouring them now that I’m on my summer break. *cries happy tears*
So let’s start with the ones I bought. First, I have More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera which I recently just finished and is my first read work from the author. I really enjoyed it but I think that I would have loved it more if my friend didn’t tell me some really important spoilers (shout out to my friend, thanks a lot girl!), and I’m still not sure if I’m going to post a review about it, we’ll see.
Anyways, I’m super excited to read the author’s other book History Is All You Left Me plus I heard that he has another book to be published on September.
Next is Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan which I already read and watched the movie adaptation but it was only 99 pesos ($2) so I had to buy it!
Lastly, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry which I’ve also already read but I was looking for something to give as a gift for a friend and so I bought a copy for the each of us.
Now for the review copies that I got, first publisher is Penguin Random House International. The first two that I got from them at the beginning of February was actually my first bookmail as a blogger!
I have already posted my reviews for these two books, so just click on the title to check them out. First is 10 Things I Can See From Here by Carrie Mac which is about a girl who’s dealing with anxiety and it has a cute g/g romance! While The Careful Undressing of Love by Corey Ann Haydu is a magical realism book about deadly girls who you can’t fall in love with.
A more recent bookmail from them contained two blue books that I’m dying to dive into because they’re both contemporaries that I feel like is perfect for summer.
We have Words in Deep Blue by Cath Crowley and Summer Unscripted by Jen Klein, I know they’re both not straight-up romance books. I’m not really good with explaining and remembering synopses so just click on the title because it’s linked to the book’s respective Goodreads page.
Macmillan Publishing was kind enough to send me 3 review copies and of course they are all contemporaries. *winks*
I Believe in a Thing Called Love by Maurene Goo is actually one of my anticipated releases this year because OMG K-DRAMA!!!
I just started watching k-dramas again, and I can’t wait to read this one because if I recall it right the MC uses what she learned in k-dramas to get an oppa a boy.
Next is Internet Famous by Danika Stone is about a girl who’s—yes you’ve guessed it—internet famous. She has this blog with a huge following and that’s basically what I know and I hope it’ll be a great read because I love books with these themes.
Last book is Just Friends by Tiffany Pitcock which I think is filled with contemporary goodness. You know the pretend-bestfriends-turned-into-real-but-more-than-friends and other troupes.
This book was sent to me by its author and I’m actually reading it right now. The Auctor Trilogy by T.R. Wolf is a fantasy novel filled with adventure, I really don’t know what to expect but I’m really enjoying it so far.
So just checkout its Goodreads page if you want to know more about it, and huge thanks again to the author for sending me this!
And for the last two, these were from OMF Literature. They gave it along with a shirt as a token of appreciation for being part of the Found Blog tour. If you want to read my review for Found by Isa Garcia just click here.
Kain Tayo! by Beng Alba-Jones is like a cookbook but it also has stories inside it while Color with Purpose by Ginger De Guia is not a book but a collection of individual postcards with different designs that you can color then mail to anyone you want. It’s really clever and the designs are just cute and witty.
Well, that’s all for this haul! I’m really looking forward to reading most of these this month. Do you have any books on the list on your TBR? What are your other anticipated reads? Comment down below your thoughts! And don’t hesitate to leave the links of your latest haul, I love watching/reading those kind of posts.
Hope that you’re having a great day today, happy reading and blogging!
Please do leave any comments, thoughts, messages, reactions, and/or suggestions! Thank you for reading.
Until next time,
I received a copy of The Auctor Trilogy and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it bc I haven’t read it yet!

Also looking forward to his next book They All Die At The End *eeeeK* Happy reading in April! 🙂

HI, A number of these look really good. I am a mystery/crime reader myself, but have been reviewing books in the “help you figure out what to do with your life” theme lately. I just finished a Martha Beck book that was truly inspiring and need to write it up. You have inspired me to get a move on! Thank you, and thanks for stopping by my blog and checking it out!
